@bargainsgirl wrote:Has anyone tried laser for sciatica? I know it takes time to heal but it's been 3 weeks now and I am getting tired of this. Been to MD once (did nothing) and my chiro 3x which helped and doing excerises but still hanging in there. He said it could take 4-6 weeks to clear. My back feels fine the pain/tingling/ burning goes down the side of my leg and lingers around my knee. Back and knee feels fine...just the surrounding nerves...any thoughts?
@bargainsgirl I slather on SportsGel, works miracles for aches and pains.

Nothing worked for me either including OTC pain relievers, heat, lidicaine and then my doctor gave me a series of steroid tablets. Not a quick relief by any means.... but after a while it started going away. I've not had it since. and will do most ANYTHING to not have it come back....

I could hardly walk, my right leg was killing me so I made an appointment with my Acupuncturist and she told me it was sciatica. I never had sciatica before but she had me walking normal within three or four treatments, I guess I caught it early.
