I have been thinking about buying one of these for a few months, still have not purchased but when I posted about the item a balance bar was suggested.

@Mom2Dogs - IMO it depends on how you intend to use the vibration plate. If you're unsteady on your feet and only intend to stand in the plate and shake, it might be something you want. However the handlebars I've seen are a permanent attachment so they would possibly get in the way and limit the ability to do certain other movements or positions with the plate such as squats, planks, or sitting on it.
