LF - Vibration Plate/Platform Recs

[ Edited ]

I'm looking to replace my current unit. Would like to keep the expense to $100-ish or less. I've been shopping Amazon so I've seen what they have and have one or two possibilities in mind. I'd be using it on carpet.

Do you have a favorite one to recommend?

TIA

@JeanLouiseFinch   Just curious.  What benefits do you get from these plates/platforms?

I ordered it last year from ShopHQ.  After I purchased it, @jackthebear, I didn't use it for awhile. I honestly don't remember if it had a remote or not.  Anyway, I'm turning it on manually and can't seem to change the settings out of default.  So yeah, a waste of money.

For starters, @kaydee50, it's good for circulation but there are also other benefits like muscle strength, flexibility, balance and bone density improvement.  It can also be a tool in other exercises besides just standing on it.

@JeanLouiseFinch   Thanks for the info.  I'm researching these platforms and will probably wind up getting one.  Seems like there is no harm in it and probably some benefit for someone like me who doesn't get enough exercise.  I'm looking at Amazon and most are under $100.

@JeanLouiseFinch.  Can you sit to use it?

@Kachina624 - yes, that's one option.  You can sit on the couch or chair with your feet on it to get your legs addressed but the whole body will jiggle when standing on it. Depending on how the body is positioned while standing certain areas can be more targeted.  The user can also sit on it or rest their arms on it (plank position).  I just read that sitting on it can improve pelvic floor strength!

I have two Lifepro vib. plates. I bought one from their website and one from amazon. Great co. and they have so much online info/instructions. Second one we got more recently and it's more intense. There is a learning curve.
