Re: LF - Vibration Plate/Platform Recs

I was just coming to post this question and did a search first.  FSA store has one with great rviews but its $299.  Amazon has them priced all over the place.  @JeanLouiseFinch  do you like the one you purchased (Merach)?

What a coincidence, @MrsCat21.  I was just about to make a post about my Merach.  The answer is NO!  I've only had it a little less than a month and Tuesday it quit working!  I used it in the morning and when DH tried later, nothing happened.  We tried all the things but nothing worked.  Remember, this is the second try with a Merach because the first one they shipped was incorrect.  The replacement was actually pretty nice (when it worked) but the remote was super cheap.  Since it gave up the ghost in such a short time,  I looked at the recent 1 star reviews and it's happened to other customers as well.  I'm leery to repurchase another one from them now.  Instead, I ordered a Lifepro that's currently on Amazon for $159. It has 29,000+ reviews and a 4.5 star rating, comes with a set of resistance bands and a pair of pull-up type bands.  The remote looks better too.  It'll arrive tomorrow. 🤞

i have two lifepros and love them. First one was more basic and then got the second that is stronger and has more features. both have remotes. Great co. if you have problems and they have great online instructions and community for questions. They also sell refurbished ones that have lower prices.

@10sluvr  @JeanLouiseFinch  @MrsCat21  I've got a Lifepro Waver & really like it. I researched before buying and they're considered very good and they have great CS & YT videos and newsletters. There are models with more bells and whistles, too. I've got several friends who have the Rumblex model. They have videos to help you decide which model is best for you.

@JeanLouiseFinch   Just curious.  What benefits do you get from these plates/platforms?

For starters, @kaydee50, it's good for circulation but there are also other benefits like muscle strength, flexibility, balance and bone density improvement.  It can also be a tool in other exercises besides just standing on it.

Just wanted to thank you for your feedback.  I did purchase a Tisscare vibration plate.  I use it while sitting and I like the way it make my legs feel.

That's great, @kaydee50.  I haven't heard of that brand but I'm glad it's working out for you.

@willdob3 - I'm glad to read your comment.  The Waver is being delivered here tomorrow.  I don't need a ton of bells and whistles so I think the Waver will fit the bill for DH and I.

Re: LF - Vibration Plate/Platform Recs

For those that purchased a vibration plate....do you think you need a bar to hold on to for balance?  I noticed the Tisscare plate does not include a bar for holding onto for balance.

I have been thinking about buying one of these for a few months, still have not purchased but when I posted about the item a balance  bar was  suggested.

Thanks
