Morning! Hope everyone slept better than I did. Having trouble with that shoulder again...remember I have that big bone spur growing into the tendons and muscle...well, it's flaring up again. My entire arm and hand kept going numb all night...my husband said welcome to his world as that's every night for him.
Going to another "session" this morning, not really a class but you kwim. I'm still sore from Monday. Yesterday I did two runs...one faster with Lucy and then another by myself that was slower and easier and I felt really good, I enjoyed it. I actually made myself stop because I'm so sore and needed to save myself for today...lol.
bopper, so sad about chiro. Very foggy here this morning but warmer.
HW...kick it hard!
tony...you're back at it and that's what matters!
nomless...we used to make those potatoes for camping....put in tinfoil and cook on the grill. Did you find a new printer?
kjohnson...I'm a scheduled person too, my friends and family tease me about it although I've lightened up a lot. I used to be more like you with my work-outs but I still never did dvd programs...just had a very strict weight-lifting, running and class schedule at the gym or run and bike from home. I just got burnt out with the intense regime and now go with the flow more...except I'll have these OTF sessions M-W-F and will run, bike, hike, weights, CF, etc., the rest of the week.

This is so true...you can lose weight on the scale from dieting, but you can't make your body look good without exercise.

Morning,
Checking in with running on my treadmill for 2 miles...just taking a breather and then going upstairs do to some weights and abs.
It's quite cold this morning around 14 and we did get fresh snow which is pretty.
Pppmint sorry you slept awful and that your shoulder is hurting again..that must be so painful. You sure do awesome workouts...
Love the message and the picture and so true!
Don't have much going on here today, just the usual.
Watched BL last night. Loved seeing the training center in Utah for the Olympics...so excited for those to start!
Have a great day everyone!

Hi, all.
Bopper, I'm excited about the Olympics, too. I like nearly all events and am particularly fond of curling. During the 2006 Olympics, I was home recovering from my first hip surgery. I'd wake up early...curling was on, I'd watch until the AM session was over. Then I took a nap, and when I woke it was time for the PM session. Because I watched it so much, I really got into it, such a strategy game.
Patty, yes, I decided what printer to get. What an ugly task it is to do the research to figure out what to get. Ugh. But it's done. Probably won't be able to install it until the weekend.
Let's see....it's cold here. Tomorrow another wind advisory with winds up to 60 mph. Yikes. No workout tonight. I'm planning to do weights tomorrow.
I hope you all have a good day!

Morning everyone! Woke up to a dusting of snow, still snowing a little bit. Lucy loved it. Yesterday was like a spring day, I did 6 miles on top of my class!
Okay, OTF was really good again. Look away if you're not interested but anyone could do this work-out...walking, using a treadmill and jump-rope, bike, elliptical, etc...treadmill .1 at push pace, rower 200...treadmill .25 push, rower 300...treadmill .50 push, rower 500...run .75 push then we did 60-sec at all-out which I did 9.5 and that was mainly because we only have 60 seconds and it takes so long to crank it up there so I just stopped there...and that was plenty after the rest of what we did and knowing I still had the hard 30 minutes left to do yet.
Loved the weight circuits...usually do 3 circuits. We did a weight exercise then ab roller, weight, ab, etc...no rests. Did a new one with the straps that was hard, a lot of people struggled with that one and I was shaking. My legs aren't sore from squats and lunges and sprinting so I can tell they're getting conditioned again. I used 20lbs dumb-bells for chest-press which may not sound like a big deal, but we move from exercise to exercise so you really get tired.
Our last circuit was 5 minutes of planks...1 min left side, 30-sec crunches, 1 min right side, 30 sec crunches, 2 minutes regular plank...if you drop down, you do burpees.
I might get back in shape yet.
My gf that is coming tomorrow has lost over 30lbs and is still eating clean...so I hope she is planning on sticking to it this weekend!

Morning, almost lunch time...
Just doing stuff around here this morning and took Logan to the vet for shots...and a nail trim. He is so good in there..she also clipped off some mats underneath him. I made his first grooming appointment for next week too so that should help.
Pppmint your workouts sound so good and never boring....have fun this weekend with your friends...
FUTURE my post disappeared recently too. Don't know how that happens but it does.
nomless I bought some Go USA mittens....can't wait!
Waving to the group!

Hi!
Been doing a lot of shoveling and trying to get back into the groove of classes. Just did an AM routine of tai chi after not doing any for a week and a half. First off I think I'm addicted because I feel great (for the first time in a few days) now and I was so off for classes and just normal life, it wasn't funny. Talk about walking around in a fog! Shoveling may be a workout, but I sure don't get any endorphins from it.
A lovely day on tap here. 34` at night, then the sun came out, the wind kicked up and the temp has been steadily dwindling all day. A balmy 11` at the moment. No matter, the tai chi got my blood circulating. Feel good. Vacuuming, laundry and cooking up a good meal are on the agenda. Thinking steak, bok choy, portabella's with gravy and some Russian tea cookies if I'm good. Hope I'm good, I've had a taste for those little buggers.
Love hearing about everyone's routines. It should help prompt me to throw something else in tonight. Bopper your Logan is going to look so handsome! Sweet potatoes, I cook those up for the kids. The dogs love them and one of my cats steals them at every chance he gets. He's kind of the same color, so maybe he just likes eating something that looks like him. He's that kind of cat. A dandy hot water bottle too when he feels like it.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Waving to all!

Morning everyone!
Been up since 4 and know I'll be up late tonight and early tomorrow with our company...ugh.
Cleaned most of the day yesterday and did 4 miles. Won't have time for class this morning since they are going to be here by 11 and I need to go buy some groceries yet.
Plan on doing some weights and taking Lucy for a quick run, think I'll go to store first.
Canine, I can almost picture your sweet potato bandits. Sounds like here, I have 2 cats also. More than once, we've had 3 dogs at one time. My friends said it's like visiting the zoo at our place. If we weren't military and didn't move around as much, I'd have more...I love animals.
nomless...everything okay?
FUTURE...I often wonder where the messages that disappear go to. I mean are they floating around out in cyber-land someplace??
bopper...I'll wear my USA knee-highs! I have to get an outfit that matches them though.
Waving to everyone else!!
Oh! We know our detach date...May 1st! Right around the corner. DH's school starts June 2 in Newport RI, I think it goes through the 20th. My class is the second week we are there. Already have a lot of people coming to visit us. Then we'll be heading to our new home the end of June. Well, heading to another hotel until we find a home.
