Hey all, we got fresh snow last night and it finally warmed up to low 20's so after I did my ChaLene Extreme workout Burn Circuit 1, I wanted to snow shoe. Didn't take Logan because he gets too many snow balls so went on my own...well let me tell you I thought they would have to call out the posse for find me. I took my regular trail but then saw some snow shoe tracks that I wanted to follow because somebody is back there doing another trail...so being the curious person I am to proceeded to follow this trail. Well holy moly I thought I was never going to get home...I didn't have my phone, ( not a phone person, never take it) I know i should have, but anyway kept going and going and going....I knew I could always turn back and follow my own tracks but I had come such a long ways already I just wanted to see where this thing came out....so I proceed forward and it winds and circles and I thought I was heading back towards the direction I had come . Then I saw an Owl and he scared me because if you have ever heard an owl flying through the woods it's a weird sound. Anyways I kept going and finally saw this blue barrel. Well I knew the blue Barrel is a marker to where my trail and this on intersect so I was able to get back to my own trail and get home...Only an hour and 46 minutes later!!!!!!! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}But I will definitely do it again...now that I know I will eventually get home!

Welcome to our new friends, and as long as I have participated in this forum, ( which is a very long time) I always enjoy seeing what others are doing. It is motivating and it is encouraging and we all fall and we get back up...it's part of life...but that's how we learn and grow.

Hubby's BD today so we are going to dinner, nothing fancy, with my sister and her husband and then will come home to watch some football.

FUTURE you had an excellent workout....enjoy your massage!

Nomless have you gotten any new dvd's from collage?

Pppmint Lucy better do her duty mighty fast or she'll turn into a popsicle.

Tony hope you have a good weekend at work...

Judy how do you feel? I hope you are getting some needed rest.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning everyone!! I ordered the TSV. My laptop bit the dust when I was staying with my son when he was sick and I've been sharing this one with dh so I finally took the plunge. Everyone is telling me to get the Ipad instead of another laptop so I'm going for it. I got the white with polka dot because it matches my Iphone! Thought that was a signWink...lol.

FUTURE, I know exactly what machine you're talking about and I love it too...I miss it! There are different variations of it. Glad you're back!

bopper, you know we had a similar experience yesterday...lol! Lets just say dh and I ended up doing a lot more miles than either of us bargained for because I was stupid.{#emotions_dlg.glare}{#emotions_dlg.sad} Good news is, I did not lose my cell phone which I what I thought happened.

Hope everyone has a good day and can stay warm!!

Patty, I love my table, am pretty sure you'll love the ipad. Mine is a noon hd, the small one, I don't need all the bells and whistles that the ipad has. Email and these posts areharder from the tablet, no paragraphing and lots of typos. For browsing, reading and games, it's awesome. I still use my laptop for email and spreadsheet jobs. You'll have lots of fun when the ipad arrives!

Patty, love the words of wisdom you posted. So true. It took me a lifetime to learn that diets don't work, but I finally got it. Well, sort of. Lost 35 lbs that I've maintained for 5 years, but still haven't figured out how to get rid of the remaining 20 extra pounds. Sigh. Am proud of the maintenance, though.....

nomless, do you think it will be too small for me? It has the keypad so I can use that if I am typing messages.

I can't stand typing on my Iphone...so that makes me wonder if the mini will be too small?? But now that I have the Iphone, I couldn't be without it...one of my best purchases ever!

bopper, I can't leave the house without my phone...I'm always so worried about my kids needing me for something or if my son is sick again. If it takes me 5 minutes to talk to them, I can always tack 5 minutes on...no big.

Well I tried to cancel and it won't let me! If I really wanted it, it would still be "in process" 4 days from now!

I priced them other places and it really is about the same price when you start adding everything up...I just don't need all the extras like the headphones. But...I do want the keyboard and cover.

Patty, for email and posting, I think a full size tablet would bbe better. For readig and playing games, the small one is better because it's lighter and easier to hold. Which size to get depends on how you want to use it most often. I use mine mostly for reading, so the small one is best for me. External keyboard is definitely a plus. Wish I had one.
