@SilleeMee @KingstonMom. This is not true across the board. Not all Advantage plans are the same.

Co-pays can range from the location and who performs the procedure.

PCP office, specialist office, out patient facility, hospital.

Is this "infusion center" a stand alone facility or in a hospital?

The key will be where and with whom and if both are in-network.

@Cakers3

The infusion center is an outpatient center located in a building that is physically connected to a hospital. Patients have to enter through the hospital's main entrance. The center is staffed with their own personnel, however.

@SilleeMee , Checking with your insurance company is the best way to go.  I have had it both ways.  $10 co-pay, $90 co-pay and zero co-pay depending on insurance.

No copays for my injections at the infusion center! YAY! I just checked with my insurance company and I don't have to pay any copays for the remainder of my monthly injections for the coming months. They were going to charge me $30 each visit so twelve of those is a chunk I don't have to think about.😊
