You've been through so much, @JeanLouiseFinch.  I hope all is well with you now.  Sending good thoughts, and daily prayers, for you and for all of those who are dealing with medical concerns.❤️

Thanks so much , @dooBdoo!🥰  Life is terrific and I'm incredibly blessed and grateful. Time seems to have flown since my surgery.  Pathology confirmed that the large mass was indeed cancerous so getting the whole kidney removed was the right choice.  If I didn't know I had an operation I couldn't tell I had one. I feel great. My recovery went smoothly and I'm sticking with a new exercise plan.  I'm walking every day.  I started out slow and short distances but then got up to 30/35 mins and a decent clip.  This morning I bumped up to 40 minutes.  I think that's the most I'll ever do.  It's just the right amount of time for me to walk our entire subdivision including all the cul de sacs.  The neighborhood is hilly in places so for me it's a good workout.
