I just had cataract surgery and the instructions say I can take a shower but to keep my eye dry? How do you do that?

Swim goggles?

Turn your back to the shower head.

I followed those directions. I aimed the nozzle at my neck.

Another thing is a moveable shower wand. When I had my surgery I used swim goggles.

Here's what I did.
Wash your face (avoiding eyes) at the sink before showering. In the shower gently cover your eye area wholding a dry wash cloth. Use your free hand to complete your shower. Dry shampoo works well for "washing" your hair

Stand WAY back from the showerhead....or you could take a bath instead.

Take a BATH.

I use a hand-held shower head. No problem. Put a plastic bag over your head?
