I have seen the arm bands. This is a big phone and I think the arm band would really bother me. I would also want an arm band that would fit the phone that is already in a case. I wouldn't want to remove my case everytime since the case is hard to remove. Any suggestions if I go that route? I have a trident case on it which I think is as big as the Otterbox.
I think the ideal thing would be a nylon bag on a strap. I can't find one that is the right size that would fit the phone without being too big.
Or even a flat fannie pack type bag that would go around my waist? I don't want those old fashioned ones that stick out a lot though.
What do you suggest?
Thanks!
I suggest you just leave it at home if you don't have pockets. Seriously .... you're just going for a walk, right? I promise .... it won't kill you to just walk and leave the phone at home.
When I walk, I'm not just going around the block. I can be a couple miles from my starting point. I feel safer with my phone. I shouldn't have to explain why I want my phone. If you have a cell phone, it is common sense to take it with you for safety.

I carry my phone in its Otterbox in a velcro armband that I ordered off Amazon. I place it high on my arm and haven't had any issues. It was important to me to not have to remove it from the case every time I wanted to use the armband.
I like to listen to music while walking - and if I fall and break an ankle I can call someone for help.

I can wait to get a drink of water til I get back, I don't lock the door, I don't feel any necessity to be attached to my phone every min of the day, and during our walk is DH and I time to talk so no music. years ago I used to have to take a key to get in the security door at my apt. so i would put it in my shoe. When i exercise I get very hot and sweaty so I NEVER stop on the way to shop so no need for money or a cc either, as some say they take. unfortunately, I do have to take my cane on my walk so that is one hand full the entire time.
It's a smart safety consideration though.![]()

I have a Samsung Note 3 and use Straighttalk. It works on ATT towers. I have unlimited talk, text and 3 GB of data for $45 a month.
Pretty cheap to me!

VB has a wristlet out now that will even fit a Samsung galaxy phone - if it doesn't have a case. I was watching a bunch of wristlet videos last night thinking of getting one to put on my cane to hold my phone and a few dollars when I go for a walk. You can watch the videos and get a few ideas. if you have pants with belt loops you can put the strap through the belt loop and wear the wristlet there.
Personally, i am not a fan of carrying bags cross body - I don't like how they hang against my chest. Uncomfortable. i would prefer a wristlet.

Hipzbags has nice looking waist bags. They also have extension chains to customize the fit around the waist if needed.
