The very last thing I would ever put in my purse would be a drink of anything no matter what the container. I'm not one for carrying around a drink constantly anyway - at the gym I drink at the nice ice cold water fountain. People are always leaving those sweaty drink containers all over the place in a gym - they just make a mess.

I have never felt the need to carry a drink around with me. I have always been able to buy something ,and sit down and drink it, if I am thirsty

For in the car:
Contifo Autoseal Trainer FIT Stainles Steel Water Bottle 20 oz. Keeps me from spilling! Cleans up great. Cold stays COLD!
Contigo Autoseal Stainless without the spout for non-car drinking!
Zojirushi--ANY stainless they make keeps water colder than anything else I have ever found! Wonderful, not cheap, great gift idea.
For smoothies around the house: Mason Jar with a handle and the lid and a wide straw that fits in the lid. Amazon sells all of these.
Hot tea, a pretty cup or mug.
Iced coffee, Starbucks plastic with lid and straw top!
All of the above are easy to clean.

Same here. I'm not a big hydrator to start with, and as I've aged my "thirst level" has dropped dramatically. I'm also not a big fan of having to stop somewhere to pee when I'm out. As it is, because of meds I'm a twice-a-night lady.
I keep a large bottled water (Smart Water, when possible) in the car. In hot weather if I'm outside I'll make myself drink bottles of purchased water. I would never bother to carry around a "water bottle" or container.
I buy diet soda or diet non-carbonated drinks when I'm out. I'm not a force-myself-to-drink-when-I-don't-want-to person, except when I'm sick. I suppose I'll have to start - in about 8-10 years ;-(

(thread title)
Being an athlete almost my whole adult life, along with spending over 30 years working in a 100°+ factory, I have always kept myself well hydrated. Not doing so would have caused me serious results.
What I use depended on my plans and location. Drag Racing in the hot sun from sunrise sometimes till sunset, I always had a huge commercial water dispenser or thermos. Training for Speed Skating and being a player or hockey Ref, I always carried at least a half gallon or water or a highly diluted electrolyte drinks.
Still carry a jug of water in my "male bag" to all my doctor/hospital and therapy sessions. Basically, wherever my body is at the time, fluid is always only a reach away. Depending on my physical efforts and temperatures of the day, no day goes by without at least 96oz of fluid, which includes 16oz of skim or 2% milk.
Glad you asked, and I thank you.

I do drink 16 oz. of milk a day as well and/or yogurt in smoothies. I HATE drinking water, so I have to make myself do it, but usually drink tea for my liquid. Unsweet tea!
I keep those little 8 oz. bottled waters in the fridge in the garage, so I always grab one of those when I leave the house. Sometimes I pop it open right then and sometimes I put it in my purse! LOL!!
I love those little 8 oz bottles!
