I weigh daily when I'm eating healthy. When not, I avoid the scale like the plague. There's always a gain there when I do get on. Weighing daily keeps me on track.

I used to avoid The Scale, but I went on Lyn Genet's "The Plan" almost 2 yrs. ago and the Daily weighing was a crucial determination to see one 'reacted' to food we are eating I tested a banana, and gained **3 pounds**!!! YIKES .
I found out, very early on, that Even Organic Chicken is NOT friendly for me yet I had been eating it 'because it's Healthy & low-fat'... but, it actually inflamed my body to the point it was compromising me & my immune system ! Hives, stomachache, joint pains within 20 minutes of my eating the chicken is NOT normal !!!!
*The Plan* was a very long journey for me (15 months) but it was GREAT in determining many of my FOOD ALLERGIES!).
My habits continue with TP, - I weigh in daily, when I wake up & I chart it in my journal, to see if a gain is due to "what I ate the day before"...or if "a loss is due to sticking-to-it with my planned menus", and I adjust my meals according to the data.

yes, and it's been recently too. I'm not tracking either. I realized, you have to eat, and I don't want to be so obsessed. It's like, don't think about food, but think about what to eat and buy. It's become a vicious cycle. I've got foods good for us in the house. After all these years, we pretty much know what we should and shouldn't eat and to not overdo it. I just decided enough is enough and I can decide that.

I am a daily ""weigher."" It keeps me accountable and in my comfort zone. I really think it is as individual as anything else is about a person.

The only time that I don't weight daily is when I know I'm eating too much and don't want a visual on what I know I'm doing which is eating too much. I love eating!! Went back to WW in January and I'm down a little over 10 lbs. I love seeing the numbers go down on the scale (or sometimes just not seeing them go up). It gives me incentive to keep going.

Every time I give up the scale, I gain weight. For me, it keeps me aware and honest about my eating habits. I also learn what makes me gain weight. Everyone is different and if this helps you then go for it!

I've read that you should weigh yourself daily but I don't. I do it several times a week if that. I try to listen to my body and keep healthy habits. That works better for me than a scale.
