Aging is miserable, until you consider the alternative.

I'd rather be over the hill than under it.

So I'm 81 and for the past 10 years or so I always greet my body in the morning with a "Good morning body.  What have you decided will ache today".  Woman LOL

A bottle of ibuprofen has become a permanent fixture on my counter.

Welcome to the "golden years," Seamaiden!  It's like whack-a-mole, something new every day, most often being nothing!

@SeaMaiden  I hear ya, sister!  I try to shove them out of my mind and they usually go away LOL.  Right side pain?  I would think maybe gallbladder.  When I get that, I take a liver/gallbladder tonic.  It usually dissipates.  Hope yours goes away soon.

Also, do you ever see a bruise on your body and think, "how the heck did I get that?"

Take care (I know you will Woman Wink)

@Tends to dogs... YES, YES and YES!   I was thinking  about my pancreas and my gall bladder...  taking stone root and dandilion root ..... yes on the bruises... last huge bruise was after I had blood taken.. I looked down and saw this huge bruise and thought WTH?.... then remembered I had blood takenWoman LOL

Re: Getting “weird” pains…

I used to be able to bounce right up if I was down on hands and knees. Now I have to crawl over to a chair or the sofa and work my way up slowly because there is no other way I can get upright again. And even that takes a little time because I no longer have the strength in my arms to push myself up quickly and my knees don't work so good anymore. Oldness.

@tansy     Yes!  I read up on that and was thinking that just might be what it is. Thanks for the heads up!
