My dad did the same with my sister many years ago and it never came back!

I had at least 3 of them grow in my body, one on my wrist... one grew on my thyroid and it had to be removed surgically.... the worst grew on my back and ATE away at two of my discs and wrapped itself around my spinal cord.... that left me with major problems... it took two doctors... a neurologist and a orthopedist to deal with it. These are nothing to think are just a little thing.... I suffered major consequences.....

I had one on my wrist a couple of years ago. It went away on its own. I thought about dropping a book on it but luckily didn't have to do anything like that. A friend of mine had one on her wrist also and had surgery because it was bothering her all the time. Recovery took a while probably because of its location but was uneventful. She has a small scar but doesn't regret the surgery.
