May be of interest.........I have taken Zyrtec every AM for years. My pharmacist friend recommends taking it PM bc it helps some people sleep. I don't have significant issues sleeping but I think taking my Zyrtec PM is helpful.

I have Andrew's NIGHT TIME (which has: Valerian Root, Melatonin, Hops, Passionfruit and Cammomile).
It works nicely - and I sleep soundly.
I admit I take it as directed AND add a capsule of Andrew's Valerian as well.
This combo for me does the trick. I sleep soundly.
Yes, I've tried his PM Relaxation.
It didn't calm me as easily as NIGHT TIME or VALERIAN by itself.

Just be aware melatonin can have adverse reactions and can also interfere with some medications. Research first.

Also be aware that many doctors are anti supplements and/or don't know much about them. You're better off doing your own research.

I am glad that these types of things bring help to many people. I get hopeful when I read and then I immediately think -- oh, wait --- better not. I take quite a few prescription meds and am so fearful of things interacting. I can't risk it. I have asked several of my doctors about several of these things which I was hopeful of and they all frowned on them and said, no, please don't take them. I realize that they don't know everything, but they know much more than me. I had a family member take an herbal supplement who became very, very ill and it turns out this reacted with prescription med. Please be careful, everyone!
