Huzzah! I'm on my way to becoming fully vaccinated. I had my first Pfizer shot today. And I'm not even feeling arm soreness.
While I was waiting the 15 minutes after my shot I did do the chicken dance arms and moved my arm around a lot. That may be the secret to my success.
I am still expecting something or other to bother me today. I'll update with whether or not I feel anything later. Going great so far!
It was a county site. There was a long line of cars which made me happy to see. Though there was a winding area we drove through at first that could accommodate even more. They didn't ask for ID or insurance. They just matched up my confirmation printout and my name to their list.
They asked me the usual questions. (They did ask if I'd had any other vaccines lately, so I thought that was interesting.) I said no to them. I dangled my arm out the car window. And a guy who was old enough to have gotten through med school a long while back and who had a doctorly demeanour gave me the shot.
And I'm scheduled for shot 2 at the same time same place in three weeks. This has all been really really easy ever since I got my first appointment set up.

Same for me and my DH, zero reaction, not even sore arms, but 2nd one is this Fri morning, so hoping for the same.

I go for my 1st shot (Moderna) at a Rite Aide Pharmacy only a block away from my house. It'll be on Thursday. Today I received an email from Rite Aid as a reminder for 11:36AM 4/22/21.
They listed something to bring. Strangely enough although anyone can get the vaccine insured or not, they did ask me for my insurance card. I'll bring it along with a copy of my confirmation. I don't have a vaccination card. I don't have anything. I'll guess I'll find out on Thursday.

Yay! Congratulations!
My husband and I have had both and no reaction to either. I was like you expecting something to happen. So when I went to bed that night I was sure I would wake up in the middle of the night with a fever or something. But no. Then when I woke in the morning I was sure I would have body aches. Nothing. 😁

@Porcelain I'm happy for you! DH and I are getting our second Pfizer shots tomorrow morning. I'm a little nervous after hearing about others feeling sick after the second one, but am excited to get it over with.

I'm almost a month out from #2.
Don't stop with the rotations.

I have had both Pfizer shots. Arm hurt both times for a day. Chills for about an hour after second shot. All was fine after that.

Relax and remember that a "reaction" means the vaccine is doing its job.
I had a "mild" case of Covid, then had brief but somewhat uncomfortable reactions to both Pfizer 1 and Pfizer 2.
I can tell you with certainty- the worst reaction to the vaccine is not even CLOSE to being sickened for almost 4 weeks by having the virus itself.
Buy yourself a little "vaccine reward" a few days after shot #2!

I had the Pfizer vaccine and I had no ill effects from the first shot. 2 days after the second shot, I was tired. I also had a large red area at the injection site. I took Aleve and the red area went away pretty quick. That was it, I am so happy to be vaccinated.

@songbird -they'll give you a vaccination card when you get your first shot. Remember to take a picture of it and then take another picture after shot #2.
