Echocardiogram

My blood pressure is doing fine with meds but yesterday my doctor sent me for that test & like an adiot I didn't ask her why. Meanwhile, I'm in a panic now thinking there's something wrong with my heart & won't know anything till Tues. Has anybody had this & can tell me what they're looking for & what happens next?
