Metforin Question

I am pretty certain that my Dr. is going to put me on Metforin next week. I was told that the side effects are nausea and diahrrea for several weeks. Not looking forward to that at all. Any feedback will be appreciated. Sad and bummed out. Tried for so long to control it with diet but now is steady in the 200's. Scary.{#emotions_dlg.sad}
