I have taken this supplement FOR YEARS for my digestive issues. I honestly don't think there's another product that works as well for me.
I always purchase the 240 capsule size and FOR YEARS paid in the $50 range for it.
Yesterday I went to re-order (googled it) and the LEAST EXPENSIVE price was $81.00!!! There were even some vendors offering it for over $100!!!!
I looked on the bottle and thought I could contact their CS by phone. It's not available.
On the bottle, it says "Made in the USA WITH GLOBAL INGREDIENTS" (emphasis mine) so I guess that's the source of this huge increase!
ALL the supplements I've used for years to keep my health in prime condition have increased but none to this extent.
Anyone have more info on this huge price increase?

Many of the raw ingredients found in supps and drugs come from living plants. Those plants have to be cultivated and where they have been growing, in places like India and China, have suffered environmental disasters. Flooding, drought and severe storms have taken down production. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Since supplements are not well regulated, see you doctor for a prescription. It should be coved under your drug plan. A relative had to take one for pancreas problems.
Hope you continue to feel well.

@Mindy D Oh, how I WISH!! 240 capsules of Digest Gold digestive enzymes, according to the listings I just saw on Amazon is $80.00. They have smaller quantities and other products, but for the product I use, the price is SKY HIGH...and that would include on Ebay (that I also checked).
I have 2 bottles that I "hoarded" (I originally had 5) with expiration dates way into 2024, but my sense is that as was mentioned by @SilleeMee weather conditions on other continents probably cut off the supply of their proprietary plant ingredients.
Supply and demand.
I think I better start saving $$ NOW to address the escalating price before my stash runs out.
Too bad Enzymedica doesn't source their proprietary ingredients right here in the USA!!

@Still Raining Really??? I never would have thought of that approach!! Where would I fill the prescription???

Some plants just cannot be grown over here. They need certain conditions to thrive and grow.

@SilleeMee I'm certainly not arguing with you as I completely believe you know what you're talking about; HOWEVER, with American ingenuity (and the thought that this exceptional company will eventually go out of business if the price of their products become so prohibitive they'll lose their customer base) it seems to me that even if they have to create some sort of "artifical environment" to grow the plants they need it could be done. (I admit I'm far from an expert but am just sharing my common sense).

Some reputable ebay sellers asking in the low $30's for the 120 count, with good exp dates.
