What are you talking about?  Restylane is a filler for the face.  We are talking about eye tears here!

I checked it - Systane, not Restylane.

@highmaintenancejan

You might like to know that bottle is also available in the 240 size.

Re: Does Anyone Use RESTASIS for Dry Eyes????

If I were you, @highmaintenancejan, I would find what is appropriate to myself, and not to anyone else.

I buy mine locally so that wouldn't help you.

I started out buying smaller containers, so obviously that wasn't the most cost effective at first but it is the way I prefer to try new things.

What I'm saying is (and I'm not sure why you don't already know this, maybe you do), is that you should tailor something to your own needs and not copy someone else's decisions unless or until you make sure it suits you in exactly the same way.

Re: Does Anyone Use RESTASIS for Dry Eyes????

After Lasik surgery in 2007, I suffered terribly from Dry Eyes. (even with lower lid plugs)  I used Restasis (along with a steroid) for a number of years.  I'd go through episodes where it would burn terribly.  Eventually I switched to Lotemax.  There was no burning.  I now use Alrex and have no issues with it.

My doctor told me early on that a side effect could be cataracts.  They were controllable until recently.  I will have surgery in May.
