Re: Digestive Enzymes - Does anyone takes these?

[ Edited ]

@AngelPuppy1 I've been wondering, do you still have your gallbladder?  If you don't, you may want to look into taking Bile Salts (Ox Bile).  Your gallbladder stores bile that helps with digesting fats.,  When you don't have your gallbladder, you don't have enough bile on demand to do that job.  I take it everyday with my meals.

You will know your situation best, if your gas is coming from consumption of certain veggies, in which the Betaine HCl would be appropriate or if the gas occurs from undigested fats, where you don't have enough bile.

Yes, I still have my gall bladder.  I have days I don't feel too bad with all of this and other days --- yuck!  I try to keep track of what I eat but I can't seem to find a pattern....

@Sweet Kitties

If I restrict my diet to AIP (which I have never done COMPLETELY) all of my symptoms subside including IBS/fibromyalgia/stomach issues/headaches/rosacea.

I indulge in a few things every now and then and find that I am now able to tolerate them. It's worth it for me.

so, I use Garden of Life capsules, but now I'm going to try some gummies and see if they work just as well.

@Tinkrbl44

I think she is referring to Autoimmune Protocol.

I should focus on it as well. The "completely" is hard for us mere mortals.

Right!

AIP Autoimmune Protocol

She is an MD naturopath out of Austen Tx. When I used to live in Texas I considered making an appt to see her in person. I regularly take her PaleoProtein because it is AIP compliant, formulated by her.
