Have you been extremely sedentary--no exercise?

Do you feel well?  Often an unexplained spike in blood sugar will be because of an underlying infection or undetected illness.

Started a new bottle of test strips or new monitor that could be defective?

I'm Type 1 and mine goes high much higher than 210 for many reasons. Lately it's hormonal issues, stress and certain foods that drive mine up. I started walking and raised my basal rate of insulin and it's much better. Try a little exercise and see if that helps.

Is that your fasting number?  Your meds may need adjusted or even an additional one.

I understand I have frenchies they can't walk in this heat at all. They will die. I however wake up early and go out in the Texas heat and humidity and walk. There are also videos to walk and other simple exercises. Some are free right now.
Because I'm on an insulin pump I only take regular insulin so yes I raise my units by small increments which is possible on a pump. Maybe talk to your doctor about upping your lantus a tiny bit. Do you spilt the dose or take it all in one shot? I split mine when I was on it and took half at 10 am and half at 10 pm otherwise I had lows in the middle of the day.

Heres DHs reply: Just put it off and have major organ damage. Anyone ever heard of that river in Egypt?
