@Tinkrbl44   I appreciate the reply, Obviously, I need to revaluate my eating habits.  My doctor suggested cutting back a little because I had put on a few pounds after menopause.

Good points but I wanted to add one thing ..... both peanut butter and guacamole come in those little 2 oz cups, usually 6 or 8 to a box.  That way, you have one serving and an adequate snack but no waste.

I understand your pain of trying to control your weight. I drink 70 ounces of water a day. I began my walking regime again.. I love to walk. I walk at least 5 days a week 6 miles. I find when I take care of myself, my mind and body require healthy food. I normally eat breakfast with a Thomas light multi grain muffin with some peanut butter and sugar free jelly with two soft boil eggs. When I come home from my walk, I have a piece of fruit. For dinner, I eat a protein, vegetables and rice or potato. For dessert, I have a fruit with enlightened ice cream. I am satisfied for the day. I don't deprive myself of food because our body goes into a starvation mode and it is hard to lose weight.

Exercise is the best remedy for your appetite and mood.

@hckynutjohn   Like you commented, I think grazing would be a better option for me.  I know sometimes I don't eat enough, but I get full so rarely 'clean my plate'.

I don't have gastro issues, when I said I get ill, I'm guessing because I have not eaten enough or have a blood sugar issue.

I know the Premier Protein drinks fill you up. When I drink one, I am not hungry again for hours.
