I wear custom fit gas permeable (hard) lenses.  I wish I could use 1-800......

Many years ago. I don't remember having any problems with them back then.

I don’t wear contacts at the moment but I was very pleased with them.

I've used them a few times  I'm not sure they have the best price, but I had no problem with service/delivery.

When I first got contacts 3 years ago, the optometrist who fitted me suggested that I NOT use 1-800 Contacts. She said of all the on-line companies available, in her experience, they have the highest incidence of getting orders wrong. She suggested Walgreens if I wasn't going to order them thru her office. I ended up ordering them with another local company who does a price match guarantee, and I've also gotten them from saveonlens.com.
