I have recently found out I have a  fluid filled cyst on my breast.I will consult my doctor when I get back to the States.I wonder if anybody else has a similar cyst.

I am glad someone asked this question. It is always interesting to read about what people were told who had the same problem.

@Bibione  I have them.  Two simple and one complex.  They are still there as far as I know.  And I've gotten clean bills of health since discovering them a few years ago.  The simple cysts they could care less about.  The complex one they investigated and determined it's nothing too.

If it's just fluid and nothing solid, don't worry about a thing.  Very common diagnosis apparently.

Thanks Laura!!!I feel better.I also read online that if the borders are well defined and the fluid is clear it should be fine.

I will see my doctor anyway when I get back.

For 3 years I felt something wierd at times and I knew something was there.Last week I had a ultrasound.I was so relieved it was just a cyst.

See a nephrologist.

That's a kidney specialist.

Be well soon

I have a long story about a renal cyst. It was in 1991 though - so who knows what they do now a days. I suddenly developed a very high fever - went to the ER - Temp 104. Admitted to hospital - many tests and it was decided I had an infected renal cyst.It was infected with a very rare bacteria called chalymidia, which we had a patient at work who had this so I picked it up from him, no doubt.  Anyway - 2 attempts to drain the cyst were unsuccessful - it just filled again so I had surgery to remove the cyst and the portion of the kidney where it was attached. The pathology on that showed I had a carcinoma in that cyst , as well as the infection, so 2 days after the surgery for the partial nephrectomy I had surgery to remove the remainder of that kidney.Weeks on IV antibiotics and finally got to go home after 3 months in the hospital. That was 26 years ago and I'm still above ground so I guess they got all the cancer & infection out. I've gotten along ok with just the one kidney all these years too.
