Well I haven't gotten the results yet, but pretty confident I'm OK

The night Friday that I had the colostomy I ended in the ER.

I was having severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, and back and neck pain.

I had told them I have some red marks on my left arm and under breast.  Long story, so I won't go into it, but I think when they put me on left side, and the anesthesia wore off, it was from that.

The Dr in ER said he was glad I went in, because I didn't want to go, just wanted the EMT's to check me out.

It was scary because I had no one with me.  I finally got ahold of the helpful son to pick me up and get me home. 

He was not happy about that because they had taken me  home from the colostomy that day and were tired of me having difficulties.

I have been independent, and the boys are not use to me having medical problems.

I was scared though, the pain in left arm and back of neck was so bad.  Everything Ok, but a very rough week.

@qvcaddition  so sorry this happened to you. I know you are worried about the results from the colonoscopy and that could be what's causing some of the problems. I would be very surprised if the results said something positive. Do you have "MY Chart" or "My Portal"?  Usually they put the results there before they call the patients.

Is your son saying negative things or are you assuming these according to the look on his face? I hope nothing ever happens to him. From reading a lot of your Posts, you are very caring and it's hard to believe that your sons are acting this way. Both of them.

Anyway, hope next week will be a lot better for you.

My son fought with me all the way home from the ER.

We have settled it.  He normally is very good to me and has had personal pressures.  The EMT's also heard the way he was talking to me and said, "I would never talk to my Mother that way.  He really is a good person, just couldn't handle any more.  Something going on in his personal life.  We have since settled our differences and he said, "I love you mom".

Nothing but ER results on the portal from Kaiser.

The reason I spelled colonoscopy wrong, I went on spellcheck on here and that is the word they changed.

No, I did not get my results from that test, but was going to call the dept.  It said they send out a letter from the instructions I received. 

It has been a rough week and today Melanie has to go back to the vet for a followup on her eye injury. I had to bring her in last Tues night.

I'm sure everything wlll be OK.

I wasn't concerned about your spelling. I wanted to make sure those that haven't followed your posts, knew you did not have a Colostomy performed. That is a very serious life changing surgery.

Hope Melanie is improving from her eye injury.

To all that helped me get through my colonoscopy and the worry, I just got the letter online through my Gastro Dr. and none of the five poloyps were cancerous.

Melanie's eye infection is also gone.  

This is a good week.

I am now back to exercising on treadmill and bike and taking Mel for her walks.  Thanks you everyone.  God Bless

Maybe at likely those marks on your left arm was from the blood pressure cuff especially if your IV was on the right. While you are under sedation, you BP is taken every 3-5 min. Many individuals skin is very sensitive that results in a black and blue effect which will go away. Plus you are lying on your left side.
