      Just wanted to add my two cents in regarding prep.  I had gone thru several procedures using the standard drink for prep. Can't remember the name, but the big bottle of lemon/lime stuff that you fill with water.  I could never finish the drink...the taste just made me gag. I ended up vomiting every time.   One time the hospital wanted to send me home because I was so dehydrated.

      Checked with my doc and told him that I had to have something else. So my last prep was with sports drink - Gatorade.  Still no fun, but so much easier than before. Use the white Gatorade....can't have anything with red, blue or purple dye.  Still had to flushout body, but the flavor of the drink was at least tolerable.

My prep was citrate magnesium pills , so very easy, and very effective.

BalletBabe..sorry to hear that. Did they die from having the colonoscopy? If yes did they have other health issues? Isn't it rare for something like that to happen? That is scary!
