#25 in the diagram..."V-6" is a vegetable oil...just ignore that and apply thieves directly on to the sore. Mine go away over night when I use this oil. It's a miracle oil.![]()

Apply no pasteurized liquid honey..or better yet manuka honey to the sore.

Lysiene without a doubt will make them go away and keep them away.
Andrew Lessman is the person to get them from.

I use Abreva but you have to apply it at the first sign of tingling & itch. That's what I do & it goes away. It will take longer to go away now if you already have one. Sorry these things always seem to happen at an inopportune time.

Herpes simplex is a latent virus in the body that can have several triggers, heat, sunlight, stress, lack of rest or immune system compromised.
I have scars around my mouth from this so I always have Valtrex (2 horse tablets that ,when taken as directed, kill the virus), and Zovirax cream.
Both are an Rx, and at least for me, well worth it.
Icing the blisters can help but you cant freeze the facial tissue, so w/caution.

If you cannot get a script I have used ice cubes...as soon as I feel the 'tingle' I apply ice many times a day, seems to help me.

I do Campophnique (sounds like) liquid on a q-tip, several times the first day. It helps. But in 3 days? Not sure.

Abreva relieves the symptoms and speeds healing. But I doubt that it will get rid of the lesion itself in just three days. It will get help with the pain. It's your first and you will likely get it again so next time, start with the Abreva when you first feel that "tingling" or "hot" feeling. Before the sore erupts.

When I get a cold sore, I apply Hydrogen Peroxide on it first (doesn't sting or smell like some other things), then use a Qtip and apply a bit of Vitamin A & D ointment on it. The ointment keeps the skin moist and is very soothing.
