@Warrior2022   You are a warrior and your thoughts will support you in your journey.  Yes, a support group will be a positive action.  Supportive loving people will be helpful throughout this process, but most importantly consider guidelines for yourself that will include your thoughts, words, and actions on this path.  You are always stronger than you think you are.  Much love💗

I can't advise on how to specifically organize a recognized and effective cancer support group. I can supply this IRS link with the requirements for establishing your group to have "501" status, more properly known as 501c3, non-profit tax status.

This website also gives clear guidance on how to organize and have proper paperwork to establish any non-profit, such as a cancer support group. Perhaps it will have enough to steer you to success.

Wishing you good health and success forming your group.

Thank you all for the kind words.  I have excitement like I haven't had in years!

Head and Neck cancer is cancer that is in your head or neck.  This excludes brain cancer.  My cancer is in my tongue and lymph nodes.  I have had part of my tongue taken out.  I will have more cancer removed from my tongue and lymph nodes.

Thank you all again.

I wish you well with your endeavor and your health.  There are online support groups, HNCA, that might be a good place to start.
