Got very sick. I drink green tea all of the time. I don't know what else was in that tea , but there was something that didn't agree with me. May be the same thing with that Tradewind tea. I always say , be your own best detective. I still drink all kinds of tea, just not that tea. I also cannot eat In and Out hamburgers. Get sick everytime. Can eat every other kind of fast food burger but that one. Stomach problems everytime. And it's not the caffeine as I will only drink caffeinated tea, no herbal for this lady.
I looked at the tea ingredients, all natural BUT it includes black tea leaves and I bet it contains ALOT of caffiene! I will listen to my body..NO more tea! Too bad we don't come with an owner's manual..it would be so much easier, lol!
Just read 47 mg caffiene, in one cup of black tea! No wonder, I'm sure I drank 10 cups or more daily!

White tea has the least amount of caffeine but not as much health benefits as green tea. I myself am pretty sensitive to caffeine but drink sometimes about 2 liters of iced green a day without any issues. Sometimes I splurge on Trader Jo's green blueberry and pomegranate ....it's unsweetened and delicious .
Those TJ teas sound good!

Sorry you were ill...it happens sometimes and it takes a while to figure out what is going on. Glad you figured it out!On 7/8/2014 addiegal said:On 7/8/2014 emmiesmom said:I love, love , love chocolate! I have some every day...add cocoa powder to my smoothie. I hope you can have a small amount. But if it hurts you I think you should avoid it.On 7/8/2014 Mmsfoxxie said:Strange thing about me is....regular coffee with caffeine makes me sick, nauseous, within 15 minutes of drinking it. Chocolate, I can eat all day long, lol.
I have always eaten chocolate ok, but will avoid it now. Not worth the pain!
Addie, I remember eating Hershey bars 6 at a time..those were the good ole days, lol. I can eat cocoa powder and add it to almond milk with some stevia. Also use it with heavy whipping cream in a blender, makes a perfect chocolate mousse! Thanks for the reminder! Hope all is well with you!

For some people, it's a trigger for migraine headaches.

Large amounts of tea can affect the kidneys and it is not the caffeine that is responsible. The evidence for this is not conclusive, but oxalates in tea and other foods are thought to ebable thr formation of kidney stones. Caffeine is one of many compounds in tea. It can affect fluoride in bones and can cause constipation in some people. You should just try more moderate amounts. You consumed a large quantity.

I'm glad I'm off the caffiene now, thanks for this info!
