I love icea tea and recently bought a gallon of the Tradewinds unsweetened. I drank several gallons in a weeks time. I got really ill, with tummy cramps and muscle aches, like the flu. I am used to green tea, which is decaf..never gave it a thought. In my younger days, caffeine caused fibrocystic disease..guess I needed a reminder. Oh the joys of getting older, Ugh!

I think I am the same way. I enjoy my two cups of coffee in the morning... but some mornings it just does not sit with me well.... good to listen to your body! Drink decaf herbal ice tea perhaps? I enjoy making Celestial brand vanilla sleepy time with chamomile and icing it as well as drinking it hot.

I think studies show that caffeine has more postives than negatives but it is an individual thing that affects people differently. All things in moderation tend to be OK.

Green tea is not decaf unless is specifically says is it decaf. Many herbal teas are decaf, green tea is made from the same leaves as black tea.

Strange thing about me is....regular coffee with caffeine makes me sick, nauseous, within 15 minutes of drinking it. Chocolate, I can eat all day long, lol.

I have always eaten chocolate ok, but will avoid it now. Not worth the pain!

I love, love , love chocolate! I have some every day...add cocoa powder to my smoothie. I hope you can have a small amount. But if it hurts you I think you should avoid it.
