C Diff Questions

I'm taking Flagyl for this upon my doctor's recommendation, it doesn't seem to be helping much. I've read that taking Florastor and something called "Culturelle" (never heard of that one) is also helpful and it helps re-line the gut with friendly bacteria.

Was hoping that someone that had experience with taking Flagyl and Florastor would be able to relate their experience. Doctor seems not to know about this.....

Also, how often to take the Florastor and with or not with the Flagyl.....

Any info would be appreciated.....

BTW, saw a doctor and an infectious disease specialist about this condition, so please, no flaming posts about self-medicating.....
