@gloriajean - Still thinking of you and Darla and hoping you've had some results by now.

My neighbor is a 17-year breast cancer survivor.  She was diagnosed with Stage 4.

She's healthy, active and has a good life.  I just wanted you to know that things may not be as bleak as they seem "in the moment".  Prayers for you both.

Thank you much for your posts, today she has a Pet Scan, and we hope and pray it won't show any spreading.

Tomorrow she gets an Echocardiogram. That is to see if her heart can take the medications. She already has EDS and a Concussion.  Thanks for your prayers.

Thank you all for the prayers for Darla.  The Pet Scan she had yesterday showed no signs of spreadng, so that was good news and answer to prayers.  Now she needs a MRI yet and hopefully treatment.  Chemo is 6 to 8 hours and every 3 weeks! We pray she can handle this!  She also has EDS, and low immune systerm.

As a mother of twin autistic 8 year old girls, which are a handful, she has a lot of concerns.

I have been following this story about your daughter. I was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago, and I certainly understand the terrible feeling. I am so glad the cancer has not spread. Both of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much for your prayers for my daughter, Darla!  The pink here is for breast cancer.  She also got herself a pink Christmas tree this year!  Never heard of that, but we'll see it soon.  Friday she goes back to the oncologist she likes and trusts, My Nurse daughter will drive her and I plan on going along again.  And - this time we should know when she gets treatments, today was her MRI, they need that.  She's in stage 1.

If this is hard to read, I'll use my blue ink again.

Just this once for breast cancer.
