Thank you all so much for your prayers.  Her name is Darla.  We appreciate all your prayers.  At this time we don't know what stage yet, We pray it doesn't spread.

@LindaSal I am so sorry you lost your mother at that difficult time.  Thank you for your prayers. I lost my sister to cancer last month. She had breast cancer in 2004 and beat it. I pray one day this dreadful disease will be no more.

@gloriajean  Prayers for your daughter and you as well.

Besides prayers, another thing that would hellp is to feel empowered. Start arming yourself with knowledge. There are cures (plural) and they're not invasive or damaging like traditional treatment is. I wish I knew what I do now when a family member was facing this years ago.

Prayers for Darla!

I am currently at home recovering from bilateral mastectomies due to breast cancer. Reconstruction began immediately. Breast cancer is curable in stages one through three. As another poster mentioned, treatments have come a long way! And knowledge is power. There are many resources available now for women with breast cancer and their families.

Wishing mom, daughter and all who love her, the best!

Sorry you're dealing with this.

To be clear, what I'm referring to are things that Western med does not promote (no money in it for them) but are less costly physically, mentally, emotionally and financially.
