Thank you, nomless. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I do yoga stretches at night watching TV, garden and other household chores, also chase the dog, so I keep moving.

I got my 21Day Fix progra today. This is the one that uses containers of different sizes for measuring different types of food....veg, protein, etc. Calorie goal tells you how many containers of each type to eat each day. I'm blown away about how small the containers are. Much smaller than the servings I eat, which explains no weight loss, I suppose. I'll give this an honest try, but I'm anticipating that I'll be hungry. We'll see. Program also has workouts on dvds.

More on 21 Day Fix: as I'm planning what food to take to work tomorrow, I'm realizing that although the measuring containers are small, when you add up all the servings per day, it's a lot of food. It also confirms what I already knew.....I have been eating too many carbs, not enough protein. I like the organization and simplification this brings to meal planning. It will be much easier to figure out what I should eat. I think it will be a good tool for those who need help, like me.

Hi everyone! Well I weighed in at 141 today... down about 5 pounds from when I started weighing myself. My goal is 130. 11 pounds.... sounds like a lot{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}, but, just take it a pound at a time. I am now walking the manual treadmill for a half hour a day, up from 20 minutes a day.. and 10 minutes more on the bike.( total 40 minutes). Goal is to walk for 45 minutes and do 15 on the bike for an hour a day total five to six days a week along with my strength training.

I have found eating the high fiber no calorie noodles( made with Kojak fiber called the miracle noodle) a great addition to my diet plan. I add the walden farms cheese sauce that has no calories and this fills me up. Usually have it with a big green salad and lean protein. Cutting down foods by half is helping also. Half and apple rather than a whole apple, half an avocado rather than a whole one. Measuring out my portions of nuts, flax meal etc. Even though I eat low carb and healthy only, it is easy to eat too much healthy if you do not watch your portions.

Hope everyone has a stellar week ahead! The weather is glorious here in Seattle- 70 degrees and sunshine! The yard is blooming like crazy! I will check back in next Sunday with my weight. Best to all! Smile

Good job, Gazelle! Besides losing weight, you are toning up. the exercise has to make you feel great while revving up your metabolism. Just in time for spring fashion and outdoor fun.

Good job, Gazelle! I'm on board with 21Day Fix. I had twice as much food for breakfast as usual and am feeling that fear of mine.....will I really lose weight if I eat all that food??? We'll see.
