Hi Everyone! Well, we never got the storm last week, barely an inch. Cape Cod got the 10 inches and high winds. Too far inland and glad about it. It got cold but I am not complaining. A little bit of ice Monday morning but almost 60 today so yes to April. I went out walking today - it was great. Work has been horrible- enough said. I have managed to do some Firm workouts but that is it- future and I have been in workout-timeout! Bopper- you are a senior citizen- no way!! All the talk about total gym has me wish I had one! Patty- how is DS, I hope things are settling for him. Nomless-I am irritated for you that you leave the gym, but I know I would do the same thing! Gazelle- good luck on the April 5! Barbara- Leslie is always a great workout. Mick- take care of that foot! Another nice day predicted tomorrow- so glad!!!

Good morning everyone! Hi tony! DS seems to be doing well, we should get the results of his first blood test back today...yesterday he worked then took his dog to the vet so he didn't have time to call about himself. Thanks for asking!

I posted in the March yesterday but I'm sure everyone saw it. I ended up doing 10 miles on foot(not at one time) and 14 on my bike. And that was easier than OTF.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Some ladies have lost 4" to 7" since starting so you really do see results but you work for them.Wink Unfortunately, that's the way it works...lol.

Going back today, I'm still sore from the 1-legged squats on Monday! They were sooooo hard!!

Have a great day everyone!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Hey all, did my errands today and Tony yes I qualify for Senior day at ShopKo . Works for me 15% off the 1st Wed. of each month. Don't quite qualify for Medicaid yet though {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Sunny and 33 right now...I'll take it....big snow storm moving in for Friday into Friday night, 8-14 inches of snow...but at least we don't get Earthquakes, floods, mudslides and Tornado's (some have touched down here) but it's a rare occurrence.

My Tigers are on at 1 pm so am going to watch my game but have to leave at 3 for a hair cut. I will record the rest of it. Love my baseball!

Have a good day everyone! ( Oh nomless did you see my post regarding the TG dvd?)

Yes, I did, Bopper. I ordered 3 dvds when Q had $3 shipping. Rosalie's, the intermediate one, and the boomers one. I think they'll be a big help.

Not feeling well today. I wish I could go home and go to bed. Might not get in a workout. Will have to see how I feel later.

HI EVERYONE!!!

I know i've been a stranger to the board, but I do still follow. Smile

I have question for bopper and nomless. With the TG dvd's, do you think those workouts can be done on the pilates machine or no. I do have the workouts that came with the pilates but don't care much for them, the instructor seems so robotic.

I have thought several times about ordering the TG but don't know if it would make much sense seeing how I have the pilates. Almost bit when the Q was showing the new one with the green on it (my favorite color).

Hi, Vonlam, it's good to see you. As you probably know, I don't have the TG dvds yet, so I can't say for certain yet. I'll post about this again after I've used the DVDs. Check back over the weekend or next week....

Hello,

I am new to this board. I'm 63 and 40 lbs over what is a healthy weight for me. But I feel great because I got my new Body Blade and did my first workout with it today, 20 min. I think it will help esp with balance and flexibility.

Today is also my first fasting day on the 5:2 diet. So I am here for inspiration and to find out what is working for everyone, not only people wishing to trim down, but to get healthier.

Evening! Bopper- cant believe you are talking snow! My world champion Red Sox lost on opening day. Patty- how did today go? Nomless- hope you are feeling better. Vonlam- good to see you, it's been a while. Pdxlalesley- welcome! Good luck with the 5:2. It has worked for friends of mine. I am a workout flunk out. I do good and then miss. I do get motivated reading reports from my good friends here. Today almost hit 60 again. I did short walk, laundry, ironing and started spring cleaning- finally some ambition with sunshine! I hope everyone had a great day!

Hi. Pd. Welcome! This is a wonderful, friendly group. They're my cheerleaders when I feel like slacking off. Hurray that you're interested in doing some things to get healthier. Take it slow, but try to be consistent. It's a journey not a race. As for me, I have 25 lbs to lose, and I've had 2 hip replacements. Most of us have some challenge we need to work around. Checking in with 50 min cardio done.
