All on the same side--Was there for 3 hours!!! Got another old crown to be replaced in a few weeks too. Stupid teeth!!!!

I am so sorry you're having teeth issues @wagirl.  I've had teeth and bone issues following cancer treatment too.  I'm still taking medication that weakens my bones and teeth. It's "the pitts!"  I choose to believe treatment teams are thinking of our survival, and not so much the side effects of the treatments. This is the mindset that gets me through the troubles and side effects, but it is still difficult when problems arise. I do hope the best for you @wagirl  @cheriere @geegerbee .

I know right?  My dentist blamed a lot of my problems on my autoimmune disease and the medication used to treat it.  Now, I'm looking at quite a few implants.  The cost of this is enough to make anyone sick.😔

@wagirl.  One thing you might consider is a prescription fluoride toothpaste, often sold by dentists.  It reduced my many cavities to zero and has saved me hundreds of dollars.

Ask your dentist.

@shy bobcat ---I am done with those meds as of 2022--almost 10 years on them---and while the treatments I had, which were very strong and aggressive, did the job and cured me of those cancer zombies--and while very grateful, it still irks me. Like a constant reminder----have other issues as well from all that too. Anyway, thank you for your kind words and hoping you are/will be doing well too!!

@Kachina624 ---You know, I did use that toothpaste --think I got it on AMZ for about $20 a tube----at my dentist suggestion--my have to order it again!---didn't need a script from that dentist as I recall--they had it in the office so bought it once there and then found it online.

What they don't tell you is that it could (it did me) turn your tongue black and no amount of trying to brush it off will get rid of it.

Re: Anyone experience with prf treatment

I get fluoride treatments with my 6-month cleanings plus I use a Rx fluoride rinse daily.
