Not sure if it is due to the dry winter we had here in central Florida..but my eyes are :tearing, cloudy, crusty and itchy....it is driving me crazy!

Yes, we've had a LOT of pollen in the air and big wind storms this month, so pollen has been ridiculous. My car is covered in yellow powder every morning. Thank goodness for my Flonase, or I'd be even worse off. This weekend the pollen broke through all my medical defenses and air filters and I had to use drops for itchy eyes for the first time in years.

I live in west central Florida and my eyes are itchy and stinging every day.
I take Zyrtec. I guess it would be even worse if I didn't.

Our news channel gives daily allergen reports (trees, grasses, molds) and they are saying that this allergy season is the worst seen in years because of the mild weather.

I could see the pollen flying through the air the other day - it was windy and stuff was flying everywhere.

Flonase has been a lifesaver for me. It will help if you start now, but it's most effective if you start it before the symptoms. I mark on my calendar when my allergens are coming into season (November - May for me) and then get my prescription renewed and refilled every October. Once the pollen levels drop back down, I stop taking it until the next October.
You may want to set yourself a calendar reminder for next February to start taking Flonase around February 10 to help you survive next March. ![]()
Hope you feel better soon, @gracie2014!
