I've always been a morning person. I'm retired now but I never had any problem getting up early for work. I slept in today...got up at 6am. All too often these days, I awaken around 4am. I just accept it and enjoy the quiet pre-dawn hours.

It is so nice to know that there are others who get up at 5am. My kids tease me about my going to bed early (around 8pm) and getting up at 5am. I have been on this schedule ever since I was a kid. My parents believed in a set schedule for going to bed so that we had plenty of rest for school or what ever was on schedule for the day. Breakfast at 6am, lunch at 12pm and dinner at 5pm and you had better not be late. I guess the schedule has been ingrained in my brain. The schedule never hurt and know I love being able to the sunrise and reflect on the beautiful day ahead and count my blessings I am still able to see the new day.

I usually get up about 5 or 6 a.m. Mornings are the best time.
