Any Zetia users?

Are any of my fellow forum members taking Zetia?  If you are, how do you feel it is working for you?  Are you having any side effects?  Lastly has it made any difference in your LDL readings?

 

My LDL isn't high, it's 103,  but my cardiologist thought this might help keep it under 100.  He gave me a two week sample to try.  A few years ago my reading was 130 and it came down to 63 with a statin.  However the side effects of the statin were terrible and he took me off of it.  

 

With a change in diet I've been able to maintain it to a reasonable level.  If  I don't have any bad side effects he wants me to try it for 6 months and then have a blood test to see if Zetia keeps me under 100.  

 

I know it's a terribly expensive drug but fortunately my health insurance cover all but $20.00 of the cost.
