So a few questions. Do you think he will do an upcoming special on his marine collagen peptide like he did last Sept? It was $85 for the 240 container. I am thinking of ordering it now since I have the 20% off coupon , that brings it down to $104 from the $129 discount price for this weekend. Which is still a good price, but would prob only order the 120 size if I knew it would be a special in Sept, because what i have left plus the 120 will take me til Sept.( i hope this makes sense)
2nd anyone have any experience-good or bad- with his Friendly Flora and Digest Assure? In the last year I seem to be having digestive problems- i'll leave it at that with certain foods. I can't always pinpoint which foods are making my stomach bloat etc -sometimes I'm fine other times.. well not so much. I have been reading and think these 2 might help.
Thanks!

Thanks for posting, I almost forgot to re-order my Marine Collagen this weekend. I put it in my cart on Wednesday so I wouldn't forget.
I am ordering the big cannister and using my 20% off coupon. I'm also re-ordering the Whey Protein.
I hope he has another TS, but I can't wait for that.

HI @CoastalGal, I know that I paid $99 for each of my 240 servings of Marince Collagen Peptides (MCP) last September, so you may want to check your bill and see if that $84 price was in combination with an online rebate offer. -- Generally Andrew's TS values are about 30-35% off of the regular Procaps price (about 40% for COQ10), so the $99 TS price sounds right to me.
Andrew was very vague about when his MCP would be offered again. -- I think that one of the reasons he was so vague was that the remote TS offering last September, was his very first online TS value and was done from his home in Colorado. At that point, these extra broadcasts were a new thing and he didn't have enough information to know what would happen with them in the future.
I think that HSN must have been very happy with the sales that resulted from this online broadcast and decided to give Andrew additional TS value days on the main HSN TV channel (lol, it's all about the money and sales figures *s*).
Last September, I got the impression that I should order enough of the MTC to last me through the year. -- So I think there's a very good chance that we'll see another MTC TS sometime this fall. It might not be in September though, because I'm sure that HSN and Andrew are still trying to create a pattern for these new additional TS offerings.
_____
Friendly Flora and Digest Assure
I've taken Andrew's Digest Assure in the past and am currently taking his Ultimate Friendly Flora (UFF).
The UFF was offered as a TS value last July (Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails (HHSN) was the TS for the other July weekend). -- While the HHSN TS is a standard July offering, Andrew changes up the TS for the other July weekend a lot.
__
Due to some abdominal surgeries, I have some less usual digestive challenges. -- I've been incorporating the UFF into my supplement plans and have gotten some results but not the best resutls with it.
I'm sharing this information because I believe my limited results speak more to my particular challenges that to Andrew's UFF. -- What I can say is that I've gotten better result with Andrew's UFF than with some of the other top competitor brands. or me, that's the only real point of comparison.
__
Up until 2-3 years ago I took Andrew's Digest Assure on an intermittent basis. Generally, I only took it after a large meal, or a meal that I felt might be challenging to digest.
For the last 2-3 years, I've really revamped my diet. I drink My Vitamix Green Smoothie throughout the day, and that provides my body with a lot of much needed enzymes. My main protein sources are scrambled eggs (from grass fed chickens), hamburger (from grass fed cows) and protein shakes... so it's much easier for my body to digest my protein.
It's been a while but, from what I remember, I thought that Andrew's Digest Assure was an excellent digestive aid.
__
You may want to go through the product listing section of Andrew's website. -- I think he still has a three-product digestion bundle. It's a good value and allows you the opportunity to try three of Andrew's digestive aids:
* Friendly Flora -- 5 billion Colony Forming Units (CFUs) as opposed to the UFF which is 25 billion CFUs
* Digest Assure
* Aloe Vera
Does my information help here? -- Just let me know if you want me to add more to what's I've said above. ![]()
Best of luck!!! ![]()

Thank you!!
You are right, now I remember I had a coupon for the Marine Pepetide. Now I feel better about ordering the 240 size with my 20% off coupon. I ended up ordering the digest assure and the Friendly Flora- bounced back and fourth on that and the Ultimate, and I figured at this point I would start with the Friendly Flora and just take more capsules gradually if needed.
You sound like you reallly have the nutrition thing down. I eat pretty well and exercise -usually 6 times a week. I have not ventured into organic eating.. I still like my junk food an diet soda..( i am sure this may be why i have some digestive issues, but at this point not really to a make the break from them) also being in my 50's things are changing!
Thanks agin, I really like reading your input on the supplements.
I wish Andrew would do another show from his home. I enjoyed it so much more without the added fluff the show hosts sometimes bring.

@CoastalGal My 20-year-old son and I both take the UFF, our first pro-biotic or digestive aid. I can't say I notice any difference, but I don't have digestive issues. However, my son has noticed a difference. He has had for a few years what I would call an "old man stomach". After eating a meal, he would frequently state that the meal didn't agree with him, then off to the restroom (sorry if that's too much info!). Since taking the UFF, he has very rarely had that problem. HTH 😊

I highly recommend Ultimate Friendly Flora. I was told by my Gastroenerologist that I have a severely slow digestive process. He said that there were medications that might help, but the side effects were really bad and he just couldn't recommend them. I started taking Ultimate Friendly Flora (one tablet each day) and the difference is amazing.

@CoastalGal, thank you for your kind words. I'm glad than my information was helpful. ![]()
lol, I've been doing the nutrition thing and the supplement thing for about 10 years now and I'm still learning... and I really enjoy it. ![]()
I think the thing to do is to just keep reading, watching Andrew, listening and asking questions. Over time you just start to pick up more and more. ![]()
I also thing that improving your eating habits incrementally is the way to go. I don't get the sense that most people can make and keep radical changes to their diets. So many quickly cave in and go back to their old eating habits. I think our bodies are much more adaptable when we make slower small tweaks to it. ![]()
I think you made a good choice starting with the regular friendly flora. The ultimate is a great value but, when you start, I always thing that smaller is better. it gives you a better idea of where you are receiving the maximum benefits since you can titrate up in small quantities much more easily.
I also wish Andrew would do another remote from his home in Colorado, but I have a feeling that those days may be gone for good.
I think that HSN gave Andrew the online only remotes on HSN2 to get a better sense of how much product Andrew would sell on these shows. I think that Andrew's results were way beyond their expectations and they saw dollar signs in their eyes... which made more HSN TV main channel broadcasts viable options.
Andrew has spent a lot of time and money building this TV studio in his Procaps Labs facility just in order to do additional HSN live broadcasts. Andrew loves to show off his facility and broadcasting on the HSN TV channel brings his show into more households, so that takes away the incentive to do online (less viewed) broadcasts.
Down the road, I think he might do the occasional online broadcast but, generally speaking, I think those online broadcasts are mainly a thing of the past now.
I'm disappointed as well, because I much preferred the online broadcasts. -- lol, I could have cared less if Andrew went off script... just so long as there weren't any host around to interrupt. ![]()

While the TS value is back to regular pricing, all the other special pricing and free S&H should be available at both Procaps Labs as well as HSN through this monday night at 11:59pm ET.

I don't know when he will have another TS on the Marine Collagen. I take his Ultimate Friendly Flora & his Digest Assure. Both make my stomach happier. I just ordered both plus some other stuff last weekend during the Essential 1 TS. I used Mr. Rebates + the 20% off coupon. Saved about $70.

Quick question- let me knw if your rebate from MrRebates comes through.. I read that any coupons outside of Mr Rebates would void your money back, so I ordered from Shopathome.com even thought the percentage was a little bit lower.
