I watched last night, before going to bed, and almost bit on the TS.  I did a little more research this morning.  Unfortunately, the Secure contains soy protein and I'm reluctant to use that on a daily basis.

I ordered the largest size. It will be my first time trying a meal replacement. I like that the tea, oatmeal and energy supplements are included, and I'll get all three favors.  Regarding soy vs whey, Andrew's explanation that this is non-gmo soy and soy gets a bad rap convinced me to try it. I've been running this year and now need to rein in the calories. Excited to try this regime.

He makes Whey Secure now, but it's not at TS pricing.

@philogirl  I wasn't referring to the GMO vs. non-GMO argument (I heard Andrew's explanation too).  I was talking about soy itself, GMO and non-GMO, and how it's utilized/not utilized in the body, and how it can actually be harmful.

Hi Jean-Louise,

Thanks for the reply. I did understand why you didn't want the soy. The GMO fact is just my rationale for purchasing. I don't know much about it. I'm sure you are correct and I would have chosen the other had it been an option.

I did not purchase anything this time, but I do have the Pena Colada Secure and I can tell you it is delicious.  It is really creamy and it is sweet.  The good thing is you can add moe liquid or less secure to get the taste you like.  I have had it for a while just drinking it here and there for a treat.  Tomorrow I am starting to use it as a meal replacement.  That is my goal anyway LOL.

I wish he would get off the soy train. Soy was never, ever made to be a food product. I don't care GMO or not, it was made into a food product during the great depression. Research.

I would not argue anyone who ingests it. It is a personal decision for anyone.

I would think that the reason the soy based one is the TSV and the non-soy one is not the same price is COST. Whey costs him more to make. Hence not the TSV price.

Even though it's Non-GMO it still has Acesulfame Potassium (non-nutritive sweetener), Sucralose (non-nutritive sweetener) in it. Ace K gives me a headache? Does anyone else that uses his Secure Meals get a headache when you drink them?
