Re: Andrew Lessman - Oatmeal

Recently had an opportunity to give several coworkers some of Andrew's oatmeal. I packaged up (ziplock) a bunch of two-serving packets to hand out. All but one has tried it and agree that his oatmeal is yummy!

The other one said she would do it this weekend, but she is used to just dashing into Starbucks on the way to work and getting her oatmeal with all the toppings that come with it.

I am eager to hear her review after comparing the two. She definitely is someone who will give me an honest critique. I used to like having Starbucks oatmeal once in a while, but like Andrew's better.

@World Traveler, how is his oatmeal different from the grocery?  I probably need to eat more, but I really don't like it.  Any info would be appreciated.  I also saw a response on the bran.  If you have had that, what do you think?  TIA!

@SXMGirl

Since no one has responded to your ‘how is his oatmeal different’, I will.

It’s not different.

There’s nothing in his specific product which is not

in a grocery store brand.

What the grocery store does have?

Organic? Grocery store has it.

Gluten free? Grocery store has it.

What it doesn’t have?

Less packaging?  Grocery store has it.

Shipping/handling?  Grocery store has it.

Availabilty? Grocery store has it.

Different cuts of oatmeal for variety? Grocery store has it.

But more importantly, what good ole Quaker Oats doesn’t have?

The huge $$$ markup on a simple, basic HEALTHY food

sold everywhere for anyone at an amazingly cheap price.

I would encourage anyone who wants to spend more money

than necessary on simple cheap basic food??

Buy Quaker Oats for all the cholesterol benefits...

and Donate the Extra $$$ to your local Food Bank.

Eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive.

Re: Andrew Lessman - Oatmeal

Finally heard back from the coworker who likes to go to Starbucks and get their oatmeal with the various items that go on top (comes with it). I like their oatmeal too. But she finally tried Andrew's and said "by far, what you gave me is better than Starbucks"! YAAAY!

So she was going to order some. Told her I would give her some of mine (I purchased a year's supply when it was at the great price). So she got about the same amount from me that she could have purchased in the medium size from HSN, but at the lesser price from me. She is one happy camper! Heart
