Don't take quck medical advice from the Epoch Times. They're crackpots owned by a religious cult. They are also blatantly political. I can't post the rest of their wikipedia description because it becomes extremely controversial and political.
From Wikipedia:
"The Epoch Times is a far-right international multi-language newspaper and media company affiliated with the Falun Gong new religious movement based in the United States. The newspaper is part of the Epoch Media Group, which also operates New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television"

@petitelady7 I haven't checked with my doctor like you did, but he has approved prior supplements I take from Lessman. PLUS, and this is a BIG plus to me, he approves of my taking Andrew's ChocoNuvo, as he has seen how my cholesterol numbers have gone down since starting that wonderful chocolate. ![]()

It is the Melatonin itself. I cannot tollerate it at all. Sadly........
@MalteseMomma I'm thinking all you need is a good glass of wine to get the same effects as you would if you could tolerate melatonin. ![]()

Well this post associated the Epoch Times with Andrew Lessman. I find that very concerning about the quality of Andrew Lessman's products if the two are connected in any way. I would not support a company that would be involved with a cult like Falun Gong. I had the impression Andrew Lessman's company was the opposite of that -- and produced high quality (if a bit expensive IMO) supplements. This new development seems very sketchy to me.

@Porcelain @Hi. Honestly I didn't take OP's post that way -just thought the Lessman reference was as a source of melatonin, not because it was mentioned in an article (and unless I missed something I don't think it was). A lot of us on here use Lessman supplements so I took it as just a question. And OP bought another brand, so I wouldn't worry about any connection like that

I took a melatonin pill last night for the first time. It was .1 as my doctor advised. I slept OK. I am so tired of not sleeping. I slept 4 hours the previous night so I thought what the heck. I have been worried about the side effects such as nightmares but I took it. We'll see how it goes.
