@Mindy D Thanks for your response. So glad you took the time to read the entire article.
My original post said that I also heard it on the radio by a doctor. It was Doctor Bob who suggested the sublingual version to assist in getting the product into the blood stream faster.
His podcast of yesterday's three-hour program will be available on his website starting this coming Wednesday. I am quite sure it was in the THIRD hour where he spoke about the benefits of Melatonin relating to the virus, and where he recommending using the under-the-tongue version and the one milligram dosage and Superior Source from Natural Grocers.
The podcasts are broken up by the hour, so you can go directly to the third hour, if you want to hear his thoughts on the use of melatonin. I find him very interesting. ![]()

@MalteseMomma Do you think it was the dosage or just that your system doesn't deal well with Melatonin, no matter how low the amount is?

I've been taking Trader Joe's melatonin for several years now. Pre-Covid,I was taking .500 mcg. I've had to update to 3 mg. I take it to help me fall asleep. No nightmares thus far.

I take Andrew's Valerian as well as his Night Time.
I don't take them together - just one or the other.
Both are successful.
I take them about 7pm, and can ease to sleep several hours later with ZERO adverse affects.
I buy only his brand due to the fact that he has no additives, fillers or gellatins.
He's pricey, but good health has no price.

I really don't need Melatonin to fall asleep; I am interested more in the other health advantages the supplement appears to give beyond sleep, especially protection against viruses.
Just so, so surprised at all the benefits Melatonin provides beyond sleep. Seems like a good thing to add to anyone's routine (as long as it doesn't cause you nightmares!) to help fight health challenges.

I have been taking Lessman's Melatonin 3mg nightly for about 3 years...checked with my doctor prior to purchasing ( who was in favor) and I'm super pleased with the results.
