Does anyone take AlgaeCal products?  I was looking at their Collagen powder contains 11 grams protein + lots of health benefits.  Interested to know if anyone here has taken it

Most collagen supps contain protein b/c that's precisely what makes it collagen. Collagen is protein so it's pretty much grams of collagen nearly equal to grams of protein in the supp. Nothing special about that but more importantly is the amino acid profile it provides.

I just wanted to ask b/c for some people, not everyone, there are possible tummy side effects of taking bovine collagen which is what's in that one you purchased. Otherwise that one is a good choice. In case you do get tummy problems after taking it then consider their marine collagen which is easier and more absorbable in the gut. It's your choice but I just wanted to give you a heads-up.

I've been taking Lessman Marine collagen for about 2 months.  Should I be noticing anything?  All I see is that my nails are growing faster but condition of them has not improved.  Not sure if I will reorder. I got the largest amount available...
