You do realize that Xarelto is a blood thinner and doesn't stop Afib from happening.

Well my afib attacks have stopped since I have started taking it

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

AFib is common, both my brother and dad have lived with it for years and they have no idea when they are having episodes...

@Carmie :  I am so sorry to hear this about your DH.   Prayers for you and your DH.......hopefully you can get into another doctor sooner.  It is so hard to wait.

Correct, people make the mistake of thinking a blood thinner is going to correct their AFib, but it wont, but it will help to prevent a stroke.

Flecainide is what my friend takes to control her AFib, works wonders for her.
