Husband has very large ankles but his shoe size is average. This is not a medical condition but just his build. His ankle width is 10 inches. Can anyone suggest where to buy sport socks that would fit? Thanks for any advice.

I'd try the big and tall stores.

Do you mean the measurement around his ankles is 10"?  That doesn't sound unusual for a man.  I think any sporting goods store would carry socks that fit.

You might want to google non-binding diabetic socks.  They are very stretchy around the ankle.

try googling socks for diabetics with neuropathy. They are very stretchy and very very soft. He'll love them.

The brand name is Smartwool...made from very fine merino wool.

Feet don't sweat,  you can wear them year round, wash and wear well.  They are a bit pricey but well worth it.  I initially purchased a few pairs for my son for Christmas a couple of years ago, he loves them!  So they'll be a staple for Christmas and birthday🙆

I buy my DH diabetic socks at Walmart. They have a few different types and white and dark colors.

Such good advice. Even my smallish Walmart has LOTS of styles in men's sox. Hope you find what's best for your hubby!
