I have never had acupuncture therapy, but I have an acupuncture mat and pillow I'm happy to have found at amazon.

I have low back pain and shoulder pain. This has helped me a lot especially if I can listen to a meditation audio at the same time. I also have got relief from my plantar fasciitis using the acupuncture pillow just resting my foot on it.

I am so happy to read about all your experiences with acupuncture. This sounds so wonderful, relaxing and most of all healing. I have a few chronic aches and pains that I would love to try this method for. I do believe my insurance covers acupuncture but even so, it doesn't appear to be too costly anyway. Thanks for your info ladies.

I visit my acupuncture dr whenever I feel the need. She's cured so many of my ailments that I'm convinced that's the way to go. At least start off with accupuncture and, if you don't get relief, then go to your dr. Mine tells me what she can do and can't do. I'm about to call her for an appt. for relief from carpul tunnel syndrome. She worked on it about 2 years ago and I haven't had any pain. It's starting to act up again so I'll be headed to her for treatment. When I first had pain, my dr sent me to a neurologist and he did all the tests. His recommendation was surgery asap. I didn't do it and I'm glad I went to my accupuncturist. If I can ward off surgery I'll take my other options.
