Has anyone tried this? Does it really work and is it safe? I also was wondering if you would still get the benefit if you divide the tablet in half and take only half daily and get 120 supply instead?

I wouldn’t try it. I think it looks disgusting. I would rather eat a plate of veggies over these things. I’m not fond of drinking green juices. They just make me gag.

Re: 8Greens Tablet

DD who is sort of a health nut, tried these tablets a while back. She hated the taste, and offered them to me. I tried one, and the taste was vile. I returned them for her.  Just could not drink, even if they were good for me.  I am sure that for some the tsste wasn't that bad. We're all different.

I’m really bad about getting enough greens in my diet so didn’t know if this would help. I don’t think you need 15 cups of broccoli or 6 oranges a day so was wondering if breaking the tablet in half would give what you need in a day and save some money?

Their site says manufactured in the USA, but where are the ingredients sourced?

I wouldn't touch it.

“...what you need in a day”

Yes, vitamins/minerals are important, but what we need in a day is much, much, much more than that.   Whenever you separate out only certain vitamins/minerals of a food & concentrate it, your body doesn’t know how to react w/ an onslaught of those vit/minerals....in fact, it can cause more damage & be highly inflammatory.

The fiber, fats & calories alone is worth eating fruit/veg in whole form....which you don’t get in a supplement.  And the most important part, the chewing, converts nitrate oxide into nitrite with is invaluable to your body’s endothelium.

There’s SO much more than popping a daily supplement.  Again, paying a lot of money for those concentrated amounts could be causing more damage than you thought.

Yes, I take 8 Greens - on my second order.  Taste?  Glass of cold water and drink with a straw.  Yes, you can split one in half - better to take half than none at all.  I take 2 or 3 per week.  Great if you can't eat lots of greens and/or oranges or other fruits.

Can only share my experience....purchased these about 6weeks ago...they really sold me on the healthy benefits PLUS increase in energy.  Well I didn't get any energy increase....and what's worse is that if caused me to have a terrible rosacea break out flare up.  My skin had been doing so good...no bumps...calm...and now I am still struggling to get things back under control.  I should have known better....it contains barley...and many many yrs ago I was doing a health diet which involved barley plus other things to make you more alkaline ph....anyway I broke out so bad.

As far as taste it isn't really bad....heck I have drank fish oil for health benefit...now that's difficult to do IMO.  I would just use cold water....add some orange flavor zero sports drink (1/8 cup) and it tasted fine.  Drinking it is the easy part....the cost is alot but I was willing to give it a go...was planning on doing it for 6mo's as I wanted to be fair and see if my energy would increase.

The horrible bumps and pus filled ones in areas I never get them...my eyes and so on just couldn't tolerate it.  After 2weeks I had to stop and return them.

I only used 1 tablet per day....says people can use up to 3 a day!  As for bowel movement increasing?  I saw zero change....I have IBS-D so that would be a concern for me for sure...but no change.
